Beach sunset 🌅

I would say that one of the top beauties of this world are sunsets. In lockdown we grasp every opportunity to leave the house, so when I went for a nice evening stroll on the beach this caught my eye and I immediately captured it. Do u prefer sunsets or sunrises? In my opinion I think they’re both beautiful in their own way, however sunsets tend to create a more variety of colours. Correct me if I am mistaken as I’m not a morning person so wouldn’t really know much about sunrises 😂

I also managed to catch this beauty at the back of the beach by the grass. It reminds me of the book “ The Secret Garden” which I read when I was younger. Have you ever read that book? If not I recommend it as it’s such a beautiful book. 📚

Baths 🛁 and showers 🚿

I love to take baths and showers it’s a time where I can just cleanse myself and relax. To be honest I take showers a lot more often than baths as they usually are a lot more quicker and easier. So when I have a bath I class it as treat or reward after a hard day’s work. Do you prefer baths or showers?? Let’s talk about showers first though. I personally enjoy having showers in the evening as I find it more relaxing after dinner and at the end of the day. To prepare for a shower I’ll pick out some new pyjamas and put all my skin care products out on my desk so they’ll be ready for me. Now for music, I used to put on any music that I liked before, but now I’ve started to play some relaxing shower music and I find it so much more calming and soothing. As for shower products, my favourite brand would have to be the body shop as they have such a variation of products that smell and feel so nice 😄 I am currently using the mango shower gel which smells so amazing ❤️ For shampoo 🧴 I’ll switch between Pantene and L’Oréal as those seem to work really well for my hair type. Also did you know that showers are proven to spark creativity??

Now for baths, I definitely put a lot more effort into these as I regard it as a ‘treat’. Therefore I use a lot more products. Usually I’ll turn the lights off, light some candles 🕯 and play some relaxing music. I’ll also read a book when I get a little bored or I’ll just enjoy the simplicity of it all. I like to put a bath bomb in and some bubble bath to make it smell nice and look pretty. Sometimes I’ll also put in bath salts and oils which makes it even more enjoyable! My favourite bath shop has to be Lush as they have such pretty things and it smells amazing 😍 when you walk in. Showers and baths are just the best way for me to relax and enjoy the moment.

Daydreamer 💜

I’m definitely a daydreamer. Sometimes in class I’ll just doze off into another world as if I’m there but not really. Once my art teacher had to call me out in class cause I was too busy day dreaming. I remember her saying “looks like your off in another world”. I guess my mind just decides that it would rather be more entertained somewhere else. So off it goes and I follow along. To be honest I don’t really know what I daydream 💭 about, I guess just anything that’s going on in my life and stuff. Do you prefer daydreams or night dreams? I personally prefer night dreams because I don’t get interrupted as much as daydreaming 😂. Although daydreaming is still very enjoyable! I find it quite fascinating on how the brain 🧠 works and the way it can suddenly just zone off into another world but the reality is still visible. I don’t know, sounds confusing but it makes sense in my head 😂

This life

Everyone’s just sitting in their home with no clue on what the rest of the world are doing. We’re so immersed in our own problems and our own life that we are absolutely oblivious about the rest of our species. We rely on the news so much that we depend on them to do all the researching and discovering for us. Your probably thinking that’s what the news is for. But we have the opportunity to educate ourselves every day about the planet that we live in yet most of us choose not to. Makes no sense.

When I was little I used to tell my self that the world was only this way because I hadn’t grown up yet. I believed that I could make a change. So I’m starting small by using this platform to spread my message to others. Even if I can just get at least 1 person to see this, would satisfy me, as that’s one person closer to making this world a better place. By taking action on the things that we would normally just pass by and to better educate ourselves would help the people around us to open up their eyes. You only get one shot on this world. So make it count. Make your mark and together we will use our knowledge as a power for this world.

Redeeming self-confidence 😊❤️

Self- confidence is something that you will probably doubt at some point in your life. Just remember that it is part of growing and everyone experiences it. The most common cause of low self esteem is when one compares themselves to another. It’s as if you were treating yourself like a book, sat there on the bookshelf ready to be judged. But the truth is that you deserve way more then negative self talk. Look in the mirror and tell yourself all the things that you love about yourself.

A good way to increase your self-confidence is to practice saying positive affirmations either in your head or out loud. Some would include: I am beautiful, I am fearless, I am who I want to be, I inspire others. By saying these the moment you wake up will make an impact on the rest of your day, leaving you happy and full of confidence. Trust me these really do work and you should most definitely give them a try. Social media also plays a huge part in lowering self-esteem as your brain will automatically tell you that you will never be as good as those that you see through the screen, but let me tell you that beneath all that there is a person just like you going through the same thing. Just remember that you are just as important as anybody else 💕

Nowadays people are so busy that they don’t even have time for themselves. Everyone’s stressing about all the work they need to get done and are rushing all about the place. Some people just sit there with no clue what to do and feel depressed. Especially in lockdown today everyone is letting their mental state get the better of themselves. Society today are always looking for the negative things in life and comparing themselves to others. Part of self care is gratitude. You see happy people are grateful for the world around them, they know that whatever happens they can control it. I cannot emphasise how crucial it is for you to just take some time to breathe and relax. Every time you look out the window, simply take every little thing that you would normally take for granted and feel blessed to have that in your life. Remember that some people out there would die just to have what you have. There are so many ways to look after your mental, physical and emotional well-being.
